Event coordinating

I have been working on event coordination on / off since 2009, some volunteering with events through various associations, for larger events and through a volunteer corps. I have worked as a conference / event hostess and have served as supervisor for other hostesses. 

I have experience dealing with different situations and coordination. Since my job has often been to deal with situations that might arise without attendees attending the conferences notice, I would say that I am reasonably good at anticipating and “extinguishing minor fires without smoke”. I have experience through various jobs with running stages for events and coordinating around the events. Both at events and through my work at an architect studio, I have worked with Wayfinding and visual identity.

In addition, I have worked with various volunteer youth groups and made arrangements there. My primary job has been to have direct contact with the country’s group leaders or to make arrangements focusing on support and motivation. So I have some experience in coordinating people and tasks. Plus I have a great experience keeping track of a larger group where everyone should feel comfortable.
